Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is special, and so are the children they work tirelessly to support. When they reached out to ask us if we’d support their ‘extraordinary people’ campaign, helping to make every day count for the hundreds of children in their care – we knew we wanted to be part of this life changing campaign.

Here at Steadyrack, we’re big on making it easier to get out and enjoy the things you love. Canuck Place provides an opportunity for over 800 children living with life threatening illnesses – and their families, to do just that. Whether that’s through music therapy, art, or recreation therapy – they add life to every single day the children in their care spend at the hospice.

As the only paediatric palliative care provider in British Columbia, the work they do is vital to the lives of the children and families who require the complex care they provide. Not only does the hospice provide 24-hour care for the children, but they also support the families throughout with loss and bereavement counselling. All provided free of charge.

It’s a place where the days are filled with joy and activities focused on making the most out of every experience. We’re honoured to be able to support this wonderful charity and applaud them on the fantastic work they do 365 days of the year. 

Looking for a way to get involved? Their ’Extraordinary People’ campaign brings together people from all walks of life and encourages them to step out of their comfort zone and fundraise donations for Canuck Place by accomplishing a personal challenge. From swimming, to running or cycling – all challenges are welcome! The crazier the better!
